The Franklin Fuchsia Group
Welcome to the Franklin Fuchsia Group's webpage.

Franklin is situated south of Auckland, and West of the "Bombay's"
Ours is a very friendly group, with numbers at last count between 50 - 60. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, and the programme is set out below. If you are in our area, please let us know, we would love to meet you.

Our Fuchsia Show is held in January, and has become a "must see" on any gardeners calendar. President Mary Hull has a dedicated team with her, and the show runs like clockwork. It is a pleasure to be with such an enthusiastic group of people, with husbands, children and grandchildren all working in the one direction, with out any dissension.

We have 5 judges amongst us, and although opportunities are few, there are the blooms that are brought each month to test our skills.

Contact Mary, 09 235 9094 or Elaine 09 235 7131
  The programme for 2009 is:-

Please bring a plate for afternoon tea, and any items for the sales table or for a draw in the raffle would be greatly appreciated.

At all meetings we have demonstrations and culture talks,

And there is a Blooms competition.
